I didn't see chassis code 907 in EPC on when I just looked. Perhaps the manual included shines some light on this, but it should be unique for each vehicle. As I understand it, the software is a lot of switches to change coding without any instructions or indication as to what each bit or byte does. Vediamo is an engineering-level software that allows reprogramming of most control modules. I don't believe the offline SCN coding benefits a VS30 owner. For VS30 Sprinters, it must be done online because Mercedes has to verify the number and accept it. As I understand it, it can be performed offline in vehicles prior to around 2020. SCN (Software Calibration Number) coding is required when a control module is replaced in a vehicle. It's the software required to communicate with Mercedes vehicles from 2000-2019 (again, not 100% on that cutoff year).
